Adaskin String Trio with Clarinetist Pascal Archer
This trio has won over audiences internationally with exuberant and stirring performances. Their playing has been hailed for “vigor, precision and stylistic certitude” (Charleston Gazette) as well as “spontaneity, intensity and charm” (Peninsula Review) and the Boston Globe praised them for “directing the listener to the heart of the matter.” Clarinetist Pascal Archer adds another dimension to this wonderful trio.

Pianist Alessio Bax is praised for creating “a ravishing listening experience” with his lyrical playing, insightful interpretations and dazzling facility. “His playing quivers with an almost hypnotic intensity,” says Gramophone magazine, leading to “an out-of-body experience” (Dallas Morning News). Since taking first prizes at the Leeds International Pianoforte Competition and the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan, Bax has won audiences across the globe. In 2009 he was awarded an Avery Fisher Career Grant.

The Harlem String Quartet
The quartet, praised for its “panache” by the New York Times, is “bringing a new attitude to classical music, one that is fresh, bracing and intelligent” says the Cincinnati Enquirer. The quartet made its acclaimed Carnegie Hall debut in the fall of 2006 and has gone on to grace concert stages around the world.
